Construction Details:

I used a McCall's pattern for the dress. I messed up and made the neckline a bit too low when I was making my modifications, so I'm going to have to work on that. I made a custom design for fabric on Spoonflower because I couldn't find that checkered design anywhere. The cardigan is based off of a pattern that I messed around with for a bit. I wasn't sure whether I wanted to make it flowy or not, but I think making it big was the right idea! I want to twirl around in it lots. I drafted my own pattern for the collar. I put snaps to attach the button to the cardigan as a closure because in the artwork it doesn't look like the button functions as a normal button. The shoes were a great find on ebay (such cute red saddle shoes! ahhh!), and the socks are from Sock Dreams.
