Construction Details:

So much of this costume was a massive rush job x_x The undershirt is red poplin and is incredibly tight-fitting; I put an invisible zipper in the side just so I could get it on and off while keeping the tiniest waist profile possible. The pants and vest are stretch sateen (except the silver accents on the vest, which are casa satin because I was apparently 300% M while working on this). The vest closes with velcro in the front, and the pins attach to the chest with flatback pins. The pins themselves are bamboo knitting needles buried in small styrofoam balls with a foam curler base. The whole piece got about 900 coats of gesso, then a layer of black primer, then silver paint and a clear coat top.

Best big brother.

The natural black color is gorgeous, but this wig tangles as soon as you look at it.
