Construction Details:

This is an original design of the March Hare. I had several pictures to draw inspiration from, including the original drawings in Alice in Wonderland. I decided to go with a female version instead of making it a crossplay. The skirt is a Butterick pattern, and I hated it. It looked like a sack when I first made it and I had to tailor it. The whole costume was very simple to make, and I'm very pleased with how it came out, especially the jacket. The only other thing I dislike is the lace on the sleeves, I wish it wasn't so stiff. I added two extra layers to make it look better, but it's still meh.
