Construction Details:

Everything is lined, both the waist cincher and the bodice have boning channels hidden in the lining and I made an underbust corset underneath the whole thing. This is also the first real styling job I've done on a wig (even though you can't really tell), which is a big step for me.

The fit need to be re-worked; I think I probably need to make everything at the waist narrower and drop the top hem of the bodice so it sits lower. The headband is probably too big as well. Despite its faults, I was really happy to complete all the elements of this outfit!

Personal Thoughts:

I loved the Shuffle! series and I was so, so happy that Asa won out in the end. She was spunky, earnest, and really relatable. I hope this'll be the first of several variations I work on.
