About this Costume
Construction Details:
Fuku pattern was copied and tweaked from a super ANCIENT sailor collared dress/pantsuit pattern. Fabric is cotton sateen (loooove this stuff) that I had to do on a wild goose chase for. Hancock Fabrics is the only place in CO that sells it in navy and there are only 3 locations in the state. I exhausted the supply in Denver, but ran short when it came to the skirt and had to drive to the location 2 hours away just to get more. :/ I had gone online and it took almost a weeeeeeek to even process!! BUTTHOOOOLES!!

The eyeball is vinyl, top stitched and layered over each color. Strapping is made from the stretch pleather I had used on Morrigan, and the boob and hip armors are worbla. I know I see a lot of people using wetlook or leatherlook spandex, but I interpreted the design as armor on the hips, but felt like the boob piece should match, so I just did it. :X
Sneakers are SUPER CUTE little hidden wedge heel sneakers from eBay.
Glove is the same vinyl used for the eyeball. cuff is foam covered in vinyl.

Overall, it worked for the time I needed it, but I'M GOING TO REMAKE MOST OF IT OH MY GOD WAS I UNHAPPY WITH IT AS A WHOLE!! D8

Fuku and glove will be completely redone for the next con. Hopefully by then I will also be able to make or commission a scissor sword. (super sad the ONE commissioner I had my eye on, is booked/not taking orders til March.) ;3;

Either way, I'll have this revamped for Animeland Wasabi in Feb.
Personal Thoughts:
I've been keeping my eye on Kill la Kill ever since I saw ads/art/mention of it earlier this year. <3 I adore it and it's over the top craziness. <3 It's so anime it hurts!!
