Construction Details:

Everything was made from scratch— the pants, the scarf, and yes, even the sweater. Oh the sweater... I've never knitted more than a scarf before tackling this costume, so knitting something so big, with multiple colors, multiple pieces, ribbing on the ends, and counting stitches, etc. It was definitely a big undertaking. I started this in 2010, when I finished the main body of the sweater. Years later, I only had to knit the sleeves to complete it. I feel like I was less frustrated with it this time around than when I first started it, but still, it was A LOT of work. Like 80+ hours or something. Although, I really have no idea, hahah. Let's just say I won't be knitting a sweater again any time soon. It was well worth it though!

Personal Thoughts:

It's been a longtime dream of bluucircles and I to have a shoot in Ken and Davis's winter outfits at Rockefeller Center.

If you're unfamiliar, there's an arc towards the end of the series where the Digi-Destined split up and travel to different part of the world during Christmastime -- Davis is sent to NYC, and visits typical tourist spots while battling Digimon. Hence why we've always wanted to do this shoot here in NYC!!

It was very crowded, which made it difficult, but we persevered and are so happy! Thanks to our photographer Nicole for helping make this shoot a reality.

I really love the winter outfits, the designs and colors are great! I love winter clothes! And I love adding another costume to our Digimon bingo! :'D
