Construction Details:

My buzzaxe was created with foam mats and paper mache.
Temporary mask was created using Crayola Model Magic.
Temporary back piece was made using foam mats with a fabric cover.
Metal plates made with foam mats, 14G wire for holding shape, and metal bolts.

Personal Thoughts:

This was actually my second cosplay I made which I brought to Rose City Comic Con last September. My favorite character classes from either Borderlands games are actually both the DLC characters Gaige and Krieg. It was a bit difficult to pull Krieg off however since he's a muscle built bald-headed, shirtless character. None the less I love his personality to the max and had to put a feminine twist on the character. For this run through I had sculpted a temporary mask from 'Crayola Model Magic' which wound up splitting pretty bad the second day. Hopefully with further updates I'll be able to create a resin cast mask. The thing I love about the Borderlands characters is the fact it's not just basic clothes with some characters like Gaige and Krieg who require a lot of hardware such as bolts, tubing, etc.
