Construction Details:

I threw this dress together in a weekend so that I could wear it for a day trip to CTcon. I used a basic full length dress pattern and made a mock up of the front and back pieces. I then measured out the stripes and cut them out of the appropriate colored cotton fabric. The dress is fully lined and the belt and sandals were things I already owned. I also made a cute tote to carry around my stuff by gluing rainbow colored rhinestones onto a premade tote.

Personal Thoughts:

Another Lady costume because she's my favorite! It also gave me an excuse to "make" my boyfriend cosplay as my Jake; his hoodie is made out a fleece with some felt and batting used for the Jake face on the hood.

Styling Notes

The wig was originally curly and was straightened using a hair straightener. The horn is stabilized with and attached to the wig by several lengths of 12 gauge wire.

I really love the color of this wig. It was also really easy to straighten and work with.
