Construction Details:

Started out as an impulse costume the night before a con, only to end up not getting done because I mis-cut fabric and didn't have anyway to salvage it to finish it.

I used a red knit to make his shirt, and made the cuffs out of leftover black cotton/polyester blend I had left over from another costume. I used a basic long-sleeved t-shirt pattern and altered the sleeve and neckline as needed.

The armbands are the same red knit and a white spandex blend, and attach with velcro. The spikes on the red armband were left over from an old piece my sister had several years back, and are just adheased onto the fabric and backed with craft foam since they're heavy.

The pants and cape are made from purple polyester mix, and dyed in a blend of violet and black RIT dye to get closer to the shade of purple his uniform is. The lining in the cape is actually from an off-white bedsheet I've had lying around forever.

Styling Notes

I just used a wig I've had forever, and took part of a ponytail clip, and sewed some length into the back of the base wig, and on the sides for his sideburns and tail.
