Construction Details:

All the patterns (collar, cummerbund, skirt, hat) were downloaded from the FB construction group, mostly designed by Kathy. I did use a McCall's pattern for the blue bodice part.

Personal Thoughts:

USO/Captain America dancing girl is pretty much done! I'm so excited to have it finished since I've had pieces for it for at least over a year. I've wanted to make it ever since I saw the Captain America movie back in 2011.

The FB group that is dedicated to making these outfits and Kathy, the one who patterned most of it, we're a HUGE help since there's so many in-progress photos and details. I don't think I've ever done a costume that was so well-documented as far as construction details go like this one. It made the process of sewing it a LITTLE less painful.
