About this Costume
Construction Details:
I had wanted to make both the top and pants out of linen since it looks like that's what they're made of, however I couldn't find a color I liked for the shirt. Instead, the shirt is made out of some other type of woven fabric that I thought worked as a decent substitute. The collar was bunched using string sandwiched between bias tape inside the shirt that was then pulled to get the bunching. I'm not terribly pleased with how it falls as I should have added extra fabric around the shoulder area to achieve a nicer (and more comfortable) effect.

The belt and shoes were bought off of ebay. The shoes were dyed a darker shade of brown. Needle was made by my dad out of wood.

The wig is a lace-front wig that was bought off of ebay. I made the mistake of cutting the excess lace off before adding hair to the sides, so I had to do so later on using tulle and separately bought wefts. Unfortunately, the color of the wefts don't match the wig exactly, but it'll have to make due. The hair was pulled up into a bun at the back and some of the additional wefts were used to make the braids that come down the front.
Personal Thoughts:
A couple of friends got me into Game of Thrones (both the show and the books) and I've been hooked ever since. Arya is one of my favorite characters in the show, and I thought this would be a fun and easy summer costume to do.
