Construction Details:

I shortened a simple kimono pattern and hand painted the flowers on using my own stencils. The armor is craft foam and model magic and I also had the perfect excuse to try my hand at making kanzashi for the first time. Overall the costume was not too difficult, it was just very time consuming and expensive. I spent many months finishing it but in the end I like the results.

Personal Thoughts:

The moment I saw the character art I knew I had to try this cosplay. Cosplaying a kimono wearing character has been on my list for quite some time and I love how colorful the design is overall. I really want to find the opportunity to wear it again.
