Construction Details:

The jacket was an CHORE, let me tell you what. It's made of a base green knit and the yellow and lighter green were a white knit that I hand-dyed in my dorm's kitchen. The skirt was a houndstooth print and took roughly my entire life to pleat and the uniform top (not pictured yet!) was layered cotton and left over satin plus bias tape. I patterned pretty much everything from scratch and I don't really want to do that ever again.

WOW OKAY so you know that feeling when you do a costume that you've wanted to do before you even really got into cosplay? Chie is one of those characters for me, so finally getting to make one of my favorite video game girls, period, after waiting nearly four years is a hella mind blowing experience.
