Construction Details:

A lot of trial and error of new techniques that I hadn't tried before went into this costume. The white base is about 10 yards of bridal satin, topped with crepe back satin that was cut out into the proper shapes/strips and zigzag stitched along all edges. The pink jewels were casted from resin, and the costume is finished off with about 300 coins which were hand individually hand stitched to the edges of the garment where appropriate.

Personal Thoughts:

While I consider this to still be a work in progress, this was one of my first dream cosplays that I attempted to tackle, and I'm very pleased with the outcome. Due to lack of time before the convention I had to take a few shortcuts, but I feel confident enough in my skills after the fact that I believe I can remake the parts that I am unhappy with.

Styling Notes

Clipped up the bangs, raised the bumps at the top and flipped the back a little more, holding everything with Got2b hairspray.
