Construction Details:

Patterning out this vest was a nightmare. In making it, I learned the hard way that Andrew Hussie did not have real-world function and form in mind when he designed Redglare's uniform. As a result, it's an unnecessarily complicated monstrosity of zippers and velcro- but it turned out pretty nice.

I went with a fingerless gloves interpretation so I'd have use of my hands to adjust makeup and whatnot. I'm glad that I did, because at Otakon, face paint just wants to melt right off of you.

Personal Thoughts:

This was utter torture to wear in Otakon's heat. TORTURE.
