About this Costume
Construction Details:
The jacket is made from a 97% Twill/ %3 spandex blended fabric. Pattern is altered from an Easy Fit Simplicity pattern. The button is fake to give it the proper look. It is fully lined in a light blue cotton.

The tie is strips of Pomagrante Kona Cotton and Plumberry Cotton. I used a $1 store tie to make the pattern and the back panel of fabric on the tie is the same material as the skirt.

The patch is hours of work in photo shop. I took a skin from the game, altered it so that the whole patch was showing. I was lucky enough to be told by some of the game designers what the words were on it. (Cause when I blew it up from the game skins it was illegible) After about 7 hours altering and editing in photo shop, I had the patch made from my design with an embroidery machine.

The skirt is my first pleated skirt, and other than the patch took the longest time of anything else in the costume. Its a boxed pleat made from twill. I top stitched the top part of the pleat and starched the heck out of the shirt. I'm pretty proud of it.

The socks were originally thigh high socks that I altered to be knee highs. The shoes, white shirt and belt were all bought.

The Book I made and have described seperately on its props page.
Personal Thoughts:
After all the crap Tomm got from the SH community about the HD Collection and watching all the interviews of how much he really was a huge fan of the game, I really wanted to show him some support and love for putting his heart and soul into the last few games.

When I saw the artwork for Silent Hill Book of Memories I really loved it. It reminded me of the art that Jason Chan did for SH:Shattered Memories. And the designs we so different from anything I'd seen before.

Add these two factors together and that is why I choose to do this costume. And I'm glad I did, because I made some really fun and talented friends in the process of researching for it!
