Construction Details:

Used JoAnn's costume pleather for a majority of the fabric. Orange pleather for the straps is from LA Fashion District. Followed a mini-skirt pattern and a princess seam top pattern that I modified. Made the hair-clips from the same pleather and added black electrical tape for the lines (totally make-shift until I can get better ones). Platform boots from Hot Topic (use for previous costumes as well). Red resin gems casted from Easy Cast plastic and secured down with E6000. Green triangles at the front are foamies covered with green spandex.

Personal Thoughts:

I love race queen designs. Now I just need a nice itasha car to pose in front of. Costume is not entirely accurate to the official figurines, but I like the design and it's a cute costume to wear for any warm event. Thanks to Sinne Doll for being Race Queen Asuka, to RuffleButt for being Sundress Asuka, for Celeste Orchid for being Cat Girl Rei, to C.Poon for being School Girl Rei. So many Eva cosplay-times!!
