Construction Details:

Never use a Reconstructing History pattern, folks. I've been sewing for over 10 years and could make neither heads or tails of some of their directions, so I ended up switching patterns for the pants partway through.

The jacket is silk that is interlined with a very thick linen, which gave it the perfect weight.

Personal Thoughts:

I made this costume for my husband so he could participate in the Batmasquerade group at Dragon*Con 2012.
