Cosplayer Artemis Moon > Costume of Korra from Legend of Korra, The
About this Costume
- Construction Details:
I've been working on drafting my own patterns so the shirt is something I drafted myself. It's made from jersey knit with bias tape for the neck. It zips up the back as well. The upper arm guard on the right is also made from jersey knit and the white design painted on with fabric paint. The two matching arm guards on the fore arm are jersey knit, too. I went a little crazy with the jersey knit since it has a little bit of give but is still fairly rigid. The butt flap thingy is made with suede and white fur by the yard. And the pants are a pair of sweat pants I already owned (They are seriously the most comfortable things ever!)
- Personal Thoughts:
- I was off and on about this costume from the beginning. I'm glad I drew up the courage to pull this costume together.
- Styling Notes
- Not much styling required. Just pulled into a ponytail, stabilized with some floral wire, bangs trimmed and hair decorations attached.
- Wig Review
- I really love Epic Cosplay's wigs. They fit my head perfectly and styling them is very easy and simple.
