Construction Details:

The armor was made with EVA foam (floor mats and yoga mats). I used Photoshop to size the armor and printed out the patterns. Once the armor was cut, I sanded all edges and detail lines on the armor. I used a heat gun to mold all pieces. The breast plate was the hardest. I used balls roughly the same cup size as me and molded the chest until is was perfect.

Everything was then sealed with Modge Podge. Base coat was white spray paint. Then did all the detail painting afterwards.

The armor is attached using elastics bands, and clasps (backpack clips). The leggings were made with white pleather and detailed with sharpie pen.

The headpiece was commissioned, but I painted it myself using kryloan and ben nye face makeup.

Personal Thoughts:

Liara is one of my favorite characters in the Mass Effect series. I've always loved the N7 armor as well so I was so happy when I saw that an alternate outfit of hers was armor! Besides I get to be the LI for my Commander Shepard (who my hubby is cosplaying) ^^
