Cosplayer Hooded Woman > Costume of Cranberry from No More Heroes
About this Costume
- Construction Details:
Where to even begin? I drafted all the pattern for this myself. I improvised and made the costume out of materials I had in my sewing closet. The black portion of the skirt was stretch poplin I had left over from a previous project...and the yellow fabric was...something I found on clearance at work and just decided to buy the whole bolt.
The black fabric on my head piece was also some left over fabric from a piece I was working on sometime ago.
Over all...the costume was just an impulse that I worked on over a span of a couple months. Using what supplies I had and working with anything I had laying around.
I spent about $10 on this costume if you don't include the wig...so I consider it a job well done!
- Personal Thoughts:
- I loved No more Heroes...and when I saw the three girl in Pure White Lover Bizarre Jelly...I knew I would have to make Cranberry with some of my girlfriends.
This costume was one that was actually made on impulse. I had the materials just kind of in my fabric closet so I just started sewing it. I think that's psychologically why I bought the yellow fabric to begin with!
May thanks to MsValentine for both the photo and for cosplaying as my Strawberry!
- Styling Notes
- I did very little to the wig...it pretty much came as I needed it.
- Wig Review
- I hate that I had to buy a My Little Pony wig...but I loved the color.
