Construction Details:

This costume turned out to be a bit more tricky than I thought, mainly due to dat pleated tutu... xD;; It's a 1.5 circle skirt made with satin, 2 layers of extra-thick fusible decorbond interfacing + hours and hours of ironing. What took even longer than all the ironing was figuring out the math to make the pleats the right size to create that over-exaggerated zig-zag look at the hem ~ yeah I couldn't even tell you how I did it, but I created several small in-scale mockups before I settled on the final pattern. The rest of the costume was just a fabulous excuse to use fresh green confetti dot fabric, my faaaaaavorite color~! Oh, and I made the yellow petticoat myself too ~ GLITTER TULLE 8D!! I kinda figured with a costume design like this, the gaudier the better. xD

Personal Thoughts:

I CAN'T BELIEVE I FINALLY MADE THIS AHHHHHH! The hugest of all high-fives to people who actually recognize this, haha xD
