Construction Details:

I spliced together a bunch of patterns for this, doing a mock-up of the bodice first. I used Casa Satin for everything. I made the gloves too, but I'm going to replace them with stretch ones from We Love Colors at some point. My "glass slippers" are sparkly silver flats I found at TJMaxx the morning of Arisia for $10.

Personal Thoughts:

Sweet-Pea and I decided to compete in Arisia's masquerade in 2012. She came up with the idea of doing a reveal where she is the Fairy Godmother who changes Cinderella's torn pink dress into her blue dress, but with a twist.

I also wore this to one of my best friend's daughter's 3rd birthday party because she's obsessed with Cinderella. She absolutely loved it.

Styling Notes

I sewed wefts into the bottom and along the sides so I could create the updo. I also took more wefts and attached them to a comb to create more curls at the top of the updo.
