Construction Details:

Err'thang was done by me. Top and skirt were made using a Kwik-Sew pattern. Skirt was modified with two extra panels for extra body, since the pattern was kinda flat looking.
The shields were made using spandex and Steam-to-Seam Lite and then hand sewn on.
Boots were a hassle. I was trying SO HARD to find a boot base that was less than 4in wedge that had an upper that would work with covers...but I guess people don't like making heel heights under 4.5" these days! I was stuck buying hooker-height heels and doing my best with covers for them. Hopefully, once Autumn hits, I'll be able to find better bases that don't look so obscene. >

Personal Thoughts:

This is the beginning of a small string of Supergirl costumes I plan on doing. This one was meant to go with a friend's Black Kryptonite Supergirl, but she didn't finish it in time for the convention. ONE DAY! I'm still pushing her to get it done soon.
