Construction Details:

So, I tried making this dress for ALA, and, due to poor fabric choice, it did not get done for that con. Fortunately, I picked up some much MUCH better fabric shortly after, and remade it. This dress is loosely based on a McCall's halloween pattern, which I mainly used as a basis for the sleeves. I added in the white panel to the dress. The buttons in the back are fully functioning, and lead into a lovely lapped zipper (first lapped zipper ever! Yay!). The apron was patterned by me. The corseting in the back of the apron is functioning as well, same with the buttons on the front of the dress. The glasses were just large halloween glasses which I used glass frosting spray on. The headdress is just ruffled fabric on some bias tape.

Styling Notes

I took the pigtails out, to place higher on the wig, and I trimmed up and layered the pigtails and bangs.
