About this Costume
- Construction Details:
- I started off by making the vest and shorts, I made my shorts a bit longer as I think it looks better that way. The back pocket flaps were functional with button holes, but I ended up having to glue them down because the corners wouldn't stay flat! I used Rit Dye to dye the shirt, and I changed out the buttons, as the original ones were kinda cheesy looking. The most annoying part of the whole costume was making the panda hat, as it SHEDS EVERYWHERE, and it was difficult to get the placement right of the eyes and ears so they looked even! The hat likes to slide around as it's lined with lining fabric, so I had to pin it to the inside of my wig so it stayed in place. I'll sew in some toupee clips or hair clips for next time, though!
- Personal Thoughts:
- A fun, simple costume that's easy to wear and comfortable as hell, I need more costumes like this, and I'm happy to add one more crossplay to my list! Plus I can make all my usual retarded facial expressions and not have to worry about ruining photos because IT'S TOTALLY IN CHARACTER. YUS. *0* Thank you to 響華 - Kyoka for letting us join your UN-GO shoot, it was tiring but I had a lot of fun being with so many other UN-GO cosplayers!

- Styling Notes
- I liked their "Purple Fusion" color, but the 12" Layered Short Wig was just a tad bit too short for my liking. I really needed a style that had the longer bangs, so I decided to hand color mine using Sharpies in Lilac. I tried to layer the front bangs using thinning shears, and I decided not to put any styling products to get them to flip out, so it's easier for me to pack in my suitcase. ^^;
- Wig Review
- I love Epic Cosplay wigs because the fibers are so easy to style and don't tangle! The only thing I don't like about their wigs is it does tend to "shine" in photos depending on the lighting.
