Construction Details:

Kimono- Black cotton on the outside and a poplin lining. I used a slightly Modified Simplicity pattern to make the kimono. The white neck band is also white poplin.
Headband: slight off-white Peachskin with craft foam that is painted and sealed and then shaped with a hair dryer.
Scarf and sash are the same off white peachskin.
Haori- Robin's egg blue poly cotton and the same peach skin for the sleeve details. the triangles are hemmed and top stitched onto the sleeves and then sewed together. I used the same Kimono pattern, but you just change the shape from a /| shape to a | | shape.
Shoes: they were white sandals that I got from the fashion district and then painted with black dye.
The swords and socks were bought.

I get to be samurai bishonen >:D

I layers the front a lot to get his uniquely pulled style. the ponytail proportions took a while to get....

Wig Review

Again, Arda wigs are awesome, but long wigs are always a pain.
