Construction Details:

When I made this I tried to be really mindful of the type of fabrics I used. I didn't really want to use much, if any, synthetic materials in this costume. However, I don't have access to lots of fabrics so I was only half way successful. lol. The pants are made of moleskin and just have a simple elastic waist. Tunic and drapes are made of type of twill/stretch cotton. Modified a gi pattern to be a little more formfitting and it's fully lined. Obi is made of linen and duponi silk. Belt is made of leather and pleather. The hand... things are also made of leather. Scarf is cotton gauze. Boots are from Target. Lightsaber is from http://www.ultrasabers.com.

Personal Thoughts:

Recently started getting into the expanded Star Wars universe and really like Jaina's character. Also thought it was a good starting point into making Star Wars costumes. :)
