Construction Details:

I'd wanted to do Gankutsuou for a while now because a.) I loved the designs and b.) I was itching for a challenge. As it turned out, this dress was significantly easier than I expected - I replicated the design with fabric paint and by laying bits of lace over it and spraying fabric spray paint over it. All told, the painting probably took a little less than 10 hours. Also, this dress needs copious amounts of sparkles - I sewed some Swarovski crystals along the bodice but will add quite a few more before I wear it again!
