Construction Details:

This costume was pretty simple in its construction, but it's so much fun to wear. I bought the sweatshirt from target. The ears are leftover broadcloth I had which I then interfaced, sewed together and onto the hood. The little yellow cats on the sweatshirt are made from yellow felt cut into the right shape and sewed on. I bought the boots and socks. The skirt is completely hand-made by myself. It's bottomweight material and was originally white, which I dyed to a sunshine yellow to match my Mairu's sweatshirt (all without having her sweatshirt with me or a picture that was true to its color) and it came out very well! I then had the tedious task of making the pleats, but it was pretty easy. Then I made the waistband, put in a zipper and a snap, and voila.

I already had the wig from my Hideyoshi cosplay and the hair's pretty similar, so I just made a few slight adjustments.
