Construction Details:

Atlantis is one of my favourite Disney movies ever. So when one of my pals wanted to cosplay Kida, I decided to be her Milo (complete with diminished physique, large forehead, and inability to drive a truck lolol). The costume mostly consists of found items. with a few things I modded/made from scratch. The pants and sweater were found at military surplus shops online. The boots I owned, and the spats I made from scratch with rib knit. The glasses I found on eBay, but the bridge in between the two lenses was so high, so I cut it off and made a new one with wire. My Shepherd's Journal is an actual working journal that i found on eBay (it was actually given to the production staff for the movie, which is pretty freakin' awesome). Eventually, I'm going to draw some of the pages from the movie in there. The wig is my old Italy wig that was styled to have Milo's ginormous bangs.

Personal Thoughts:

I love this costume. So much. The reactions Ive gotten from fans of the movie have warmed my heart greatly.

Styling Notes

The sides of the wig were slicked back, and the bangs were made by wrapping the fibers over a soda can, hair spray, and a hair dryer on cool.
