Construction Details:

The dress is made from a synthetic light orange fabric and 2 layers of a pink lace fabric. The simple shorts underneath are made from a knit in a matching light orange color. The dress pattern was drafted myself - the bust is a gathered piece and the middle has princess seams. The skirt is an interesting shape, circular on top and straight on bottom to get that cut where it is longer on the sides. The green sequins and lace trim were all hand sewn on - until I ran out! Wouldn't you know, these green sequins were very scarce at the time. The necklace was a simple online find. The bracelet was made from a pack of orange beads and several strands of elastic. I could not find an accurate belt, so I did my best to create something similar. It's actually made from tag board covered in vinyl, which is detailed with silver brads for the studs. The buckle was stolen from another belt and the rhinestones were added. The boots were also online finds, with slight altereations. The wig is Amphigory's Ena, straightened and with the ends thinned out. The flower in my hair began as a white silk flower, and was dyed with Sharpie ink.
