Construction Details:

Beads beads beads beads! XD For 5 weeks I saw nothing but beads! This dress is one of my dream costumes. So, I tried to make it as close to the reference as possible. The dress is casa satin that I hand beaded the pattern onto. There are over 15,000 beads on it the last time that I counted. Each flower took me about 3 1/2 hours at first, but I was able to get it down to 2 hours! The bodice is boned, and the 80 yards of lace is hand dyed. As are the roses. The shoes I made myself. I modified a pair of heels, and covered them in the same fabric of the dress so that they would match. All 40 yards of the lace at the bottom is sewn onto tuille and then sewn onto the dress.
