Construction Details:

I patterned the uniform myself. I hand stitched the entire jacket and the blue line down the shirt. Skirt is from previous costumes.

I saw some of Robotech on TV as a kid, but only recently did I watch the original Japanese version of Macross. Fantastic show, and Misa is a fantastic character.
At SacAnime Summer 2010, I met Minmay's voice actresses, Mari Iijima and Rebecca Forstadt and it was awesome. :)

Styling Notes

This wig. I've had to restyle it over and over. Originally, it was just hairsprayed (as seen in older photos). I ended up having to sewing the curls upwards so that they would hold. I'm always have to fix fly-aways, though, each time I wear it.
