Construction Details:

First girl cosplay I've done since 03. It's a dress with a petticoat no less. Kona Cotton was a bad idea since it doesn't like to stay wrinkle free. It was the right shade of purple though. The bolero top probably was the easiest part of the costume. Giant ponytail wig was a giant pain to construct. It's actually a shoulder-length wig I was intending to use for Dio (Last Exile), and I added a pound or two of extensions. It came out well, it's just heavy.

Styling Notes

Ponytail wigs are a pain. I bought extra extension packs to hide the wig mesh when the hair was pulled into a ponytail and had an interesting time getting the hair up high enough. Thankfully it worked out well and stays put so the wig does not slide due to the weight.
