Construction Details:

I'm a huge fan of Resident Evil 4 and I've wanted to Cosplay from it for a while now. I knew right from the start that I'm not suited to Cosplay Ada and certainly not Leon so after making my Heather (Silent Hill 3) costume, I felt motivated to make an Ashley costume. It was sort of fun Cosplaying the damsel in distress. (^^) I owe my mom a huge thank you for knitting me my orange turtleneck & my sweater. It took a long time to finish this costume and get all the details like the plaid for the skirt and the snowflake design on the sweater done. I had a lot of trouble getting a nice blond wig for this costume but now that it's done, I'm really happy with how this costume turned out and I'm looking forward to wearing it several times in the future.

I just love the photos SolarTempest took at Fan Expo '08. I ended up being a part of a RE4 group that formed during the con and we got some really nice photos at the base of the CN Tower in the evening and outside of the con centre during the day. (^_^) On October 19th I took part in a photoshoot at a beautiful park outside of the city. Many of my photographer friends took pictures of my costume among the ruins of an old mill and I love all the pictures to pieces. :D

Personal Thoughts:

Resident Evil 4 is such a fantastic video game. I'm very happy to have Cosplayed from it. I wish I had totally finished this costume before the Halloween dance I first wore it to, but I'm happy that I finally finished it in August '08. :3
