Construction Details:

This dress was originally going to be a spiffy version of Peach's "new" dress (from Super Princess Peach and Mario Party), but I wasn't sure where to go with it. Then the Smash Bros. DOJO site released the new Peach design, and I revamped the whole thing into the new style! Basically I cut the overlayer of the bodice and skirt into the new shape and added the details. Entire costume put together in less than 3 weeks for Anime-Fest 2007.

I've redone parts of this almost every time I've worn it, adding sparkly rhinestones to the whole dress, and putting glitter fabric paint along the bottom edge to keep it from fraying.

Personal Thoughts:

I love this costume, it's just so pretty! And everyone knew I was Peach (I was afraid people wouldn't recognize the new outfit).
