About this Costume
Construction Details:
This was my 4th cosplay and it took over a year of off and on work to complete, based on the manga art.

The cassock and cape were customized from patterns, with a muslin mock-up made to get the fit right. The cape is linen and the cassock a cotton, both lined. Many yards of heavy-weight silver satin bias trim were made, machine-sewn on one side and hand-sewn closed. The crosses on the cassock and stole were done as applique with trim edges. The crosses on the gloves were fabric-glued with 3D silver puffy paint edges.

The armor was made of Wonderflex, and the pauldron required darts to get the curves to work out. I used screw posts at the joints of the pauldron and the foot armor to allow for movement, and to make it possible to get the boot armor on and off over the boots. All of the armor has snaps to attach it to the costume, and remove for storage.

I became a "resin arrow casting monster", making silicone molds of Sculpey-carved originals and using Quik Cast for the arrows and small cross "belt bling".

The rosary cross was constructed from mat board, wire, E600, and 3D puffy paint. The beads were made from gold Sculpey with wire shaped around them them.

And I had leather work for the belts, straps, spats, and boots. Most of the leather came from Tandy Leather and the belts an straps required dyeing, skiving, and riveting to complete.
Personal Thoughts:
After wearing this costume to nearly 30 conventions or gatherings, it's still one of my favorite and most fun costumes to wear, and not quite ready to "Krusnik out" yet.

Styling Notes
The styling for this wig is very basic: the bangs get styled up and to the sides, and the rest is put in the low ponytail.
Wig Review
I have actually already used at least 2 wigs for this costume, the first was a Cosworx Ivy silver.
