Construction Details:

Scout Jacket - Lightweight twill bottomweight with hand embroidered patches - 1.5 hours per small patch, 4-5 hours for the large back patch, jacket patterning and construction 5-7 hours

Personal Thoughts:

Once the belts are on and secured, this cosplay is a lot of fun to walk around in! I'm also very proud of the jacket, as I used the original bought jacket, drafted a more cropped pattern, and embroidered the painted patches for attachment to the new jacket - after learning in an interview with the creator Hajime Isayama that the patches on the jackets are embroidered, I feel even more justified and proud of my choice to hand embroider all four patches. Plus, it makes it more special for me as the person wearing it! The next step is to remake the straps out of a more durable leather and make some ODM gear out of either EVA foam or some foamcore!
