Personal Thoughts:

We pieced this costume together with bits and scraps from lots of yard-sale/thrift store trips.

The hardest part of the costume was the hat, which we built from scratch using poster-board and hot glue. We modified a tutorial to make the live-action Hatter's Hat, and used some fabric we found at Goodwill for less than $2.

All in all this costume cost less than $30, which is pretty cool if I do say so myself.
