In 2008 a few of my friends talked me into doing a Misa Amane costume. Since it was just for walking around the con I didn't really have any qualms about using a store-bought dress, but I still wanted to find something very accurate. After a few months of eying the Hot Topic racks finally by a stroke of luck they began selling a dress almost identical to one that Misa wears. This is one of my favorite costumes to wear now because its so easy to get into, and being store bought I'm not as afraid of ruining it since it can be machine washed if needed.

Styling Notes

In 2011 I bought a blond Le Tigre Long wig for my Eternal Sailor Venus cosplay. That Anime Boston I figured since I had it with me I might as well use it, especially since Neige (my Light) was wearing a wig as well. Comparing pics I think I like it better w/out the wig and it's certainly easier to style my hair in mini-pigtales than the wig, but it's nice to have the wig in case I ever get the crazy idea to cut my hair.
