My cosplayer name is based on my classic car that I have been working on for years...my black 1959 4-door Cadillac. I have been an anime fan for as long as I can remember, growing up with Speed Racer (I refuse to watch the live-action film!) and have many cels, douga, and cosplay outfits. My current projects are always my mascot duties as Nauticon's Jack Daniels and his every changing outfits, and anything Marvel or WB has me working on. I finished my Al Elric from Fullmetal Alchemist, and hope to have him up at Nauticon 2016. My completed outfits include Hei from Darker Than BLACK (with custom mask and resin blades), Future Trunks from DragonBall Z, Cloud Strife (and full metal almost 5 foot Buster Sword), Kadaj & his double bladed katana (FFVIIAC), Sousuke Sagara from Full Metal Panic (military uniform), Dante from Devil May Cry 3 (I wore to NY ComicCon in Feb 2009 and NY AnimeFest 2009, with Dante's Rebellion sword in the FUNimation booth)...man was that heavy!, InuYasha, with a matching Tetsusaiga katana and full powered version, Ed Elric from FMA and the Shamballa version (also wear while working with FUNimation), Duo Maxwell and Heero Yuy from Gundam Wing and Thor and Third from Jyu Oh Sei, and many others. Thanks to all who visit!

59CustomCad says, "took about a year. First step of advice I give cosplayers when they want to try automail, is measure your individual finger joints while wearing the black bodysuit/gloves that will hide your flesh tones. Measuring the hand before, then trying to get the hand on over the glove, is very, very difficult. For the "blade" attachment, small round aircraft magnets that you can place inside the metal snaps, make the applying the blade over the forearm much quicker...but measure, measure, measure. Diagram out (I used tissue I could wrap) to get rougher first drawings. Adding different colored wires under the larger arm pieces and attaching with heat glue, really catch fans attention and show that "extra" push to the details. Finally, when wearing it at a con, always bring a small bottle of super glue (cause things pop off) and a gray/silver paint sharpie, for touch ups...and hey, isn't Ed's automail always a little beat up?"

59CustomCad says, "fastest way to do it is using a drama mask. You can actually get them in all white at costume/theatre supply stores. Mine is actually more of a combo fiberglass/fabric mix, with a black fabric string embedded to use to tie/tighten around the back of the head, under the black wig, or tuck under your hair. I can shoot the back of the mask if you want a closer study...just let me know."
